I’m a portrait photographer and animal lover with a heart for telling real stories. I love capturing the laughter, quiet moments, milestones, and everyday connections that make your life uniquely yours. My hope is to give you heartfelt images that bring you back to the people, animals, and seasons of life you never want to forget.

My Story
My love for photography began when I was 15, borrowing my mom’s point-and-shoot camera and spending hours photographing anything and everything around the house and barn.
What started as a creative hobby grew into more than a decade of experience and, in 2023, the beginning of CKL Photography. Based just outside the Twin Cities, I balance photography with my career in the medical device industry, where much of my day is spent working on detailed, technical projects. Picking up my camera gives me the freedom to slow down, be creative, and focus on the people, animals, and relationships in front of me. I take the time to get to know each client and understand what makes their story unique, allowing me to create a relaxed, personalized experience that brings out genuine personalities, emotions, and connections.
Through my lens, I hope to preserve more than a moment—I want to tell the story of the relationships you cherish most, whether they have two legs or four.
